Winchendon After School Program

The Game Changers
This team of elementary students have banded together to make a difference in their community among those struggling to get by. Even so young, many of them have seen or experienced what it means to be financially insecure. A lively bunch, this group decided that they would fundraise doing what they loved: via exciting activities.
This team helped at the Old Murdock Senior Center Open House, running Bingo and a popcorn stand, spreading the word about their Venture and their main fundraiser at the 4th Annual Taste of Winchendon.
And at the Taste of Winchendon, the team successfully ran 4 different activities: Henna, Clay Making, Bracelet Making, and Tie Dye. Together, they raised over $400 and donated their funds to the Winchendon CAC, an establishment they became closely familiar with as they now know how the Winchendon CAC helps people in Winchendon in need access services, and receive essentials.
