How Can Parents Get Involved?

Bob-Chauvin-and-LilyThere are several ways that parents can become involved in United Way Youth Venture.

  • Visit with students (remotely) to provide feedback at one of their weekly meetings or to serve as a panelist to determine if a Team is ready to become a full-fledged Venture.
  • Share your expertise and mentor a Venture Team as an “Ally” or “Technical ally”. (An ally is a non-controlling adult who as agreed to help mentor a specific Venture).
  • Serve alongside a Venture Team that supports a cause important to you as they implement their vision in the community, volunteer or intern in the UWYV office or at events.
